In the Pay Per Use model, your wallet balance would have no time limit. ThingsPod has developed the Pay Per Use model to support users who have fewer numbers of devices or transfer data irregularly and discontinuously.
It is best to first check the behavior of your devices and users to estimate the amount of data exchanged with the platform. Then, calculate your approximate cost using our Calculator. Feel free to ask for help if you need any.
In the case of using the Pay Per Use model, our calculator will help you estimate the number of platform resources you would need and provide you with an invoice. To increase your wallet balance, you should enter your account and top up your wallet through the profile section.
No, the Calculator is only designed to give you an estimate of how many resources you would need. After topping up your account, you can use the balance on any resource.
If the data storage period (TTL) is not set in the hardware, this period would be 180 days by default. You can change this value for all your devices in the Platform Dashboard at any time.
Yes, once you create an account, the free pod version will be activated with limited resources. You can observe the limitations in the profile section. To activate professional features or more resources, you can top up your account and benefit from a 10% discount as a gift.
Once your account balance approaches zero, you will receive a warning email. If your balance becomes negative, your account will be temporarily disabled. To reactivate your account, you need to top up your wallet. (Contact Us for raising your wallet balance till further notice.)
By creating an account, you can start developing using the platform’s limited Free Pod resources. Also, you can enjoy a 10% discount on your first tenant top-up.
