Entity Views

In Thingsood, you can filter the telemetry data and attributes of devices or assets for your customers and users via Entity Views; This means that only part of the data is displayed to users. Also, you can set the start and end times of data viewing in this section.

To add Entity Views in Thingspod, you must go through the following steps:

• From the main menu on the left side of the page, select Entity View Groups.
• Click the + icon and add the "Entity View Group".
• Choose a name for your entity view.
• By entering the entity view group page, click the "+" icon and create a new entity view.
• In the opened window, enter the information about your entity view.
• Click on the "Add" button.
• Your entity view has been successfully created.

The entity view information window includes the following:

• Name: Choose a name for the entity view
• Entity View type: Choose a name for the entity view type
• Target Entity: Select a device or asset as the target entity and its name
• Attributes propagation: choosing the desired attribute for displaying to the user
• Timeseries data: Select the desired telemetry data for displaying to the user
• Start date & End date: Specify the time to limit access to view telemetry or target device attributes. (The customer cannot see the telemetry data of an entity sent outside of the specified time).
